This notice explains how Be Brave Ltd, trading as Be Brave Studio, uses personal information when you visit bebrave.studio or contact us about a project. Contact us at hello@bebrave.studio about your information or this notice.
When you enquire, we collect your name, email address, message and any project type, budget or motion preferences you choose to share. Please avoid including sensitive personal information in an initial enquiry.
We use enquiry information to reply, understand your requirements, prepare proposals and, if you become a client, deliver and administer the project. We rely on taking steps at your request before entering a contract and on our legitimate interests in managing business correspondence. Where records must be kept for tax, accounting or other legal obligations, we rely on the relevant legal obligation.
Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing emails. We do not sell your enquiry information.
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits and interactions, and share measurement data with Google Ads to understand which ads lead to enquiries. This may include pages visited, device and browser information, approximate location and advertising click identifiers. We do not send the name, email address or message from your enquiry to Analytics or Ads. Personalised advertising and remarketing are not enabled. Optional measurement runs only after you accept; rejecting it does not affect browsing or enquiries.
In the current Analytics property, event-level data retention is set to two months and user-level data retention to 14 months, with the user period renewed on new activity. These settings do not determine how long Google keeps aggregated reports.
We use Webflow to host the website and process form submissions, Google services for website analytics, advertising measurement and email handling, and Cloudflare services to deliver media and help protect the site. These providers may process technical or enquiry information as necessary for their services. If a project requires sharing information with a delivery collaborator, we share only what is needed for that work.
We keep enquiry information for as long as needed to respond, assess the proposed project and manage the related correspondence. When it is no longer needed, we delete it or remove identifying details unless a legal obligation, contract or dispute requires us to retain it. Client, contractual and accounting records may need to be retained for longer.
Some service providers may process information outside the UK. Where a restricted transfer is involved, appropriate arrangements under UK data protection law must apply. You can contact us for more information about the arrangements relevant to your information.
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask for access to your information, correction, deletion or restriction of its use, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or ask for a portable copy. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time without affecting processing that took place before withdrawal.

Essential technologies support website security and form protection. Optional measurement technologies help us understand visits, interactions and which ads lead to enquiries. A preference record is used to remember your cookie choice. Optional technologies should remain off until you allow them; you can change your choice later through Cookie settings.
Use the Cookie settings link in the footer, or here, to change your preference. You can also remove stored information through your browser settings. Rejecting analytics does not prevent you from using the contact form.
